Bitcoin cannot be used for more than about ~360,000 transactions per day (about 2,500 transactions every 10 minutes).

Do you think this good news for Litecoin?

This is incredibly good news for Litecoin, along with the fact that you now have to stand in line and wait for one of a handful of companies to ship you an ASIC if you want to mine Bitcoin anymore :)

In the coming future I think there will be considerable stress on the Bitcoin network as the incentive to run expensive machines declines and the number of smaller transactions rises due to its popularity.
