connection dropping out

bumped and modified :)
im having issues with random connection loss,mining away for 3-6 hrs then
when i check rigs there spinning full speed but blowing cold,i check my pool and no workers active,rigs not showing in router/device status,
 i had these working fine with my old laptop running win xp,im now using win 8,thought that might be the problem so ive changed puTTy compatability settings but still no joy
im using cg miner 2.11.3 and bamt 5oc
anybody got any idea whats causing the dropout ?
