Always use official links:

Newbies / Re: Which GPU is best for Litecoin mining?
« on: April 07, 2013, 10:00:41 AM »
i would go with cheap 5830/5850 :D if i were starter cause those are cheap and easy to resell still ;D

Yay ;D better to have multiple trading places as competition will rise price :D

Projects / Re: Developing a Litecoin mining botnet.

As said in official forum, you make more harm to community with this project. Also its illegal anyway.

Newbies / Re: Solo Mining - Is it working and how long?
« on: January 31, 2013, 05:07:30 PM »
CPU solomining with wallet is nonsense. If you really want to solomine use atleast GPU instead of CPU.

Nope i think it will max go to 0.1-0.2$ but surely 0.1 is closer :D

Litecoin mining / SupaDupa's Pro Guide to Litecoin Stratum Mining (Windows)
« on: December 31, 2012, 08:28:05 AM »
SupaDupa's Pro Guide to Litecoin Stratum Mining (Windows) *UPDATED January 1st 2013*:
ProTip: Stratum replaces the now obsolete getworks with a much more efficient push/pull/poll. Stratum introduces the new Pay on Target mining algorythm which involves mining extremely high difficulty shares for an attempt at much larger reward payouts but is not available on Notroll Pool as it is a strictly PPS Pool.
1. Download CGMiner 2.10.4 *Must be version 2.10.3 or higher to enable Stratum mining* @
2. Sign Up to Notroll Pool @
3. Create a shortcut to CGMiner 2.10.4
4. Right click on your newly made CGMiner 2.10.4 shortcut and go to Properties under the target field go to the very end press spacebar and type in -o stratum+tcp:// yourusername.1 -p 12345 --scrypt --shaders numberofshadersyourcardshavehere -I intensityyouwanthere -g numberofgputhreadsyouwanthere
5. Click ok on the shortcut
6. If all goes well you should now be mining Litecoins via Stratum Pay on Target Mining

Litecoin discussion / Re: What is Litecoin?
« on: December 30, 2012, 07:16:31 PM »
-LTC is mainly mined with GPUS (Reaper was first GPU miner, now even cgMiner supports LTC mining with GPU)
-CPU mining isnt profitable if you pay for electricity.
-LTC suffers cause BTC miners jump in to mine with their rigs when difficulty is low and leave LTC when it rises.
-These days biggest pools  gets DDOS time to time. Remember P2Ppools can secure LTC-network :D

Im honored, ill try my best to be as usefull i i can be.

"cgEasy holds your hand through the creation of cgminer configs--All you need is your pool info and know what GPU you have!"

It works on all platforms being Java, but it makes .bat files for cgminer.exe, which pretty much limits it to Windows. All you need to know about your GPU is what it is--is it a 5970 or a 7970M? Or maybe a Mobile 3410? cgEasy has around 200 different GPUs programmed into it--from a 2008 laptop gpu like a Mobility Radeon HD 3200 to a desktop 7970. This program is not meant for advanced users with multiple different gpus which each have different #'s of shaders.

cgEasy v1.0.1 source .zip:

I encourage anyone who knows java to take a look through the source code (and even compile it yourself if you want) as that removes the suspicions and issues of running code you don't know. :)

NEW IN v1.0.1
--Overclocking settings
--Fixed one mobile card's settings
--Added Engine Clocks and Memory settings for almost 200 GPUs
--Allows overvolting

YouTube tutorial: !

What does the program do?
--Allows you to customize what color the background and font of cgminer is
--Allows "shortcutting" to pools (enter litecoinpool, it knows you mean
------>Supported Pools:,,, coinotron,, xurious, nuking, and litecoincash
--Does the work of finding out what shaders your card has for you. It asks what card you have, you type in whatever it is (say 5970, or 6990M) and it looks in it's almost 200-gpu database.
--If the card name you enter isn't recognized, you can enter how many shaders it has manually, no problem.
--Standalone, doesn't require any dependencies (aside from java)
--Adds ".bat" to filename if you don't add it.
--Allows overclocking of your GPU
--Tells you what default clock settings are of your GPU so you can decide
--Allows overvolting
